Customs and import taxes:
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import deals taxes that may apply. I am not responsible for delays due to customs.
Orders going missing:
I accept package lost responsibility in the event a package legitimately goes missing in transit. This happens when the tracking stops updating and in this case, I will wait for 15 additional days and send you a replacement / refund. However, this isn't the case with international orders unless the tracking states that the item was lost / damaged in transit. As the importer of the product, it is the customers responsibility to pay their customs and duties and to understand the laws of importing goods in their own country. Therefore, if a package safely departs the UK and arrives at the destination country, my store does not honour missing packages. In most cases, international customers must contact their postal services and pay duties if the package hasn't been delivered and is most definitely waiting to be picked up. If a customer refuses to pay customs and the package is returned back to me, I will offer a refund, minus the shipping cost.
Order marked as delivered, but customer did not receive it:
I am unable to replace or refund packages that have been marked as delivered as I use tracked and signed service. I am happy to assist in locating the package and filling out “lost package claim”, however my store does not honour refund / replacement for items that have been delivered with a signature. If this happens to you I am truly sorry and would suggest that you check with your neighbours personally and look around your property (garden, front porch etc.). I will also assist you in filling out lost package form on Royal Mail.
Estimated Shipping Times:
I do my best to meet the shipping estimates at checkout, but cannot guarantee them. Actual delivery times will depend on the shipping method you pick, and the efficiency of your local post office. Han Berker Jewellery has no control over the package once it has been shipped and has no control over the postal services and cannot alter or change handling times. I do provide tracking with every order and although it takes time for it to update and states that it will update once delivery is attempted, please keep an eye on it and be patient during these difficult times.
How to Return an Item
1. Contact me on Etsy and or Instagram @hanberkerjewellery
2. Send me pictures and explain what's wrong.
3. I will provide you with instructions for return.
4. Please repack your order. Use the original packaging and include everything that was sent in the box to prevent damage. You are responsible for any damage due to improper packaging; please take care to repack the jewellery carefully. Please contact me on Etsy or Instagram @hanberkerjewellery if you're unsure on how to do so.
5. Please send your return within a week after contacting me. Note that you are responsible for return shipping cost unless the product received was a mistake from Han Berker Jewellery for example, wrong length, wrong plating and or style.
Refunds:
Please expect a refund to arrive 3-5 working days after I receive your returned package, provided it arrived undamaged. You will be refunded for the price of the item minus the shipping cost. Please not that I cannot provide refunds for items that have been damaged or altered (with parts missing or empty return boxes).
