This vintage covered ironstone bowl is by Lillian Vernon. It is white and blue with an Asian Crane motif. There is a flower on the lids handle. It is heavy and appears to be ironstone. The bottom of the covered dish has a sticker that says "Made in China for Lillian Vernon Mount Vernon NY 10550" This would make a beautiful decorative rice pot. Condition: Lidded Ceramic Dish is in great condition. The lid has beautiful crazing. There is a indented line under the glaze shown in the last couple pictures. This is not a crack. The lid has a few very tiny brown spots on the crazing with a little roughness. There is a picture of this as well. Dimensions: With the lid it stands 7 1/4" tall. The diameter of the bowl is 8 3/16" and the diameter of the lid is 9 3/16". It has a base diameter of 5 3/8".
