The result is, what I feel, simply the best modified DOD 250 Overdrive pedal available at any price. In its stock form, the DOD 250 Overdrive suffers from a dull, undefined tone - not at all like the sweet, warm sound of the vintage (and expensive) grey model. To remedy this, I upgrade many circuit components to add richness, clarity and fidelity to the tone. The three position switch selects between different clipping diodes - giving you a choice of different 'flavors'. The difference between my modified pedal and a stock unit is astounding. Additionally, I add a bright LED and upgraded knobs in your choice of color. Lastly, I install true bypass switching and a 2.1mm "Boss" style DC power jack. Requires 9 volt battery or DC power (battery and power supply not included). The third photo shows a modified circuit board. As you can see, I know what I am doing and my work is clean and correct. I am meticulous in my work. I pay attention to the details - including cleaning / lubricating all jacks and pots, replacing any worn or missing battery straps, grommets and screws and fully testing every function prior to shipment.
