Flower picture, Fields & Grass Floral. This is a modern textile art landscape picture which is crafted using hand painted and hand dyed fabrics. I use a wide variety of fabric in my work. This picture has various linens and cotton. The modern embroidery is a mix of freehand machine and hand sewn embroidery. It is hand sewn with embellishments. The flower picture is signed on the back.

Size 10inch x 10inch (8inch x 8inch size of picture within the mounted frame)

Picture mount is made of professionally cut mount board. It comes with a backing board, front mount and protective plastic bag / cover.

I live in Scotland and the beautiful local scenery is often an inspiration in my work. This picture reminds me of the fields at the back of our house.

The picture is great viewed both close up to see the detail and also at a distance to appreciate the full effect. This is an original piece and as I paint my fabrics, it is very hard to duplicate a picture exactly. I often advise my customers to buy the picture they like as it may be gone tomorrow.

Each piece is unique, please be aware that some threads are intentionally left with a frayed edge and some the textured cloth, may not lay completely flat, this is the nature of fabric.

The picture comes complete with a high quality acid free white mount. The size is a standard 10 inches by 10 inches. Frames are readily available for this size of picture from Ikea, Amazon and other major retailers. Purchasing without the frame is recommended for locations out with the UK.
