Stunning set of 5 antique green and brown books. Very ornate with gold lettering. Very detailed covers and spines. Very interesting and beautiful looking. Such an attractive display. They are all from the late 1800s and early 1900s.

Even though they may be in a little worn condition, they are still quite lovely.

The Great Republic by The Master Historians. Vol 1 - 1901. Illustrated. Browned page edges.

Longfellows Poems, 1887. Household Edition. Illustrated. Gold page edges on 3 sides. Loose pages and spine.

Raimunds Werke 1908. Written deals German. Ferdinand Werke was an Austrian Actor and Dramatist. Ornate cover is stunning. Library stamp and check out pocket in tact.

Music and Moral by Rev. H. R. Haweis. Philosophical/ Biographical/Instrumental/Critical. Late 1800s. Few folded page corners.

Bressant by Julian Hawthorne. 1873. Embossed covers. Pages are browned at edges.

All of these gems have some wear on the spines top and bottoms as well as the cover corners. The tops of the pages have some discoloration and there are some smudges on some of the covers. Some of the books have previous owner inscriptions. But that certainly does not take away from the beauty of this impressive collection.

When stacked they measure 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 7 1/2".
