Using developmental skills, children can unlace a leaf and find a lizard, unbutton a petal and find a lady bug, and many more skills practicing with zippers, Velcro, snaps, buckles, and hooks. Each animal is embroidered and can be removed to put deals on a puzzle in the back or free play. There is a hiding place on each page for a purple frog so a game of hide-and-seek can be played each time the book is used. Different textures, colors, and counting opportunities are included to encourage dialog while going through the book.

Each book is 10 inches by 10 inches made of cotton fabric and pages are lined with flexible plastic to make them sturdy for little hands to manipulate. Because each book is custom made, there may be slight variations in placement and fabric choices my differ depending on availability. A child's name on the cover and a "from" on the back can be added at no extra charge.
