Beautiful antique Japanese bento box.

Measures about 7" high at the handle, and 5.5" square.

Three compartments.

One compartment holds a round plastic container with an antique paper doily.

Handwritten note inside indicates this item was acquired in 1932 in the city of Yokohama, Japan.

Very beautiful wisteria design hand-painted on all four sides.

Condition: the top of the handle is a separate component, and has been re-glued. It could stand to deals be re-glued.

This is an antique item, so the exterior is not perfect, some mis-coloring on the wood.

Overall, very beautiful.
