We offer for sale a nice rare VINTAGE WOODEN JEWELRY BOX CASE made on the island of Corfu, Greece by prisoners craftsmen circa 1960's.

As you can see in the photos this old wooden carved box / case comes in good-used condition, considering its age. There are some signs of wear around the wood and a small piece around one corner has been detached. A beautiful boat is decorating the outer side of the lid with a nicely carved pattern around it. The lid is marked with: "KERKYRA" (CORFU). The inner compartment is finely covered with soft blue velvet and a mirror also decorates the inside.
