ABOUT THE ARTIST: Kharkov artist Vladimir Vasilievich Kuznetsov was born on September 13, 1924 in Moscow. Graduated from the Kharkov Art Institute (1954). Teachers by profession - F. Fedorovsky ,. Petrovichev ,. Kotov, L. Chernov. Member of the CPSU. He worked in the field of easel painting. Major works: "V. Mayakovsky among the youth" (1957); F. Amelin's Communist Labor Brigade (1960); "On the Yenisei" (1963); The Vague Morning of the Blockade (1967); "On the Komsomol Clock" (1968) and others. Participated in republican exhibitions since 1957. He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor and medals.
