I designed and created this table runner myself on my rigid heddle loom. The warp threads (the long threads) are cotton and a deep denim blue color. The sari ribbon is in stripes of varying thicknesses in shades of teal. The recycled sari fabric was dyed one color, but different fabrics took the dye differently, leaving stunning variations in the color depth and brightness. There are tiny hints of green and even some gold embroidery. The sari ribbon yarn is from Darn Good Yarn, a woman/veteran owned company in upstate New York. This yarn keeps these gorgeous fabrics deals from going to landfills!
I made this table runner in my smoke-free, dog-friendly home. However, since the original materials are recycled, I cannot speak for sure of their origins. The table runner has already been washed and dried in the sun. Hand wash separately as the dyes will still run. Lay flat to dry.
