LOOKING FOR THE PERFECT GIFT?? Look no farther than this Large Handcrafted Keepsake/Valet Box (see dimensions below) fabricated from (2) unique and beautiful woods. The 4 sides are Ambrosia Maple, which is maple that has been attacked by Ambrosia Beetles. They leave these wonderful greens and blue streaks as well as small holes where they burrowed in. The top lid and the legs are American Walnut, which complements the unique pattern of the Ambrosia Maple wonderfully. The patterns of the ambrosia maple insures that each box I make is unique!

The tapered legs and the inverse curve sides give this unique box a definite Oriental look or flare. One of my customers stated that this box had a definite Art Deco Look. What do you think??

This is a one of a kind keepsake! The photos I take truly do not do justice to the beauty of this heirloom.

There is no stain. The finish consists of an initial coat of Danish Oil followed by (4) coats of a quality spray lacquer. A loving hand buffing brings out the overall beauty of these (2) woods, as well as a wonderful smooth feel to the touch. A heavy brown felt at the bottom of the box provides protection for your valuables.
