They have been carefully grown for the last 1-3 years and are now a good size for carnivorous plant enthusiasts. Your order will also come with the black “triple pot” as pictured in the first image.
Drosera capensis, or the Cape Sundew, is a carnivorous plant species forming linear leaves up to 4.5 inches long. It is easy to care for and and may produce plantlets as it grows. The leaves are covered with tentacles (trichomes) that secrete a sticky “dew” to attract and catch prey.
The Venus Fly Trap is a carnivorous plant that needs no introduction. It is native to North and South Carolina and has inspired generations with its menacing looking teeth and horrific means of eating insects.
The Sarracenia or North American Pitcher Plant is a diverse group of carnivorous plant with almost a dozen different species. They can be crossed to create an explosion of different forms that inspire awe. Their size ranges from low growing clumps to giants that tower over four feet high. They are also sometimes referred to as trumpet pitchers due to the long shape of their trap which they use to lure bugs into before digesting them for nutrients.
Growing instructions will be included.
