Vintage Nils Olsson Hemslojd Ab Traditional Wooden Swedish Dala Horses Set of 3 - Orange circa 1950's - 1970's - Each uniquely hand painted Each measures approx: 6 3/4" tall x 6 1/2" long x 2" wide Condition: 1 horse has an area of chipping paint which can be seen in the last photo. The other two are in great condition. This collection was curated and likely not originally purchased at the same time. One horse does not have a manufacturer sticker. The other two have stickers that are not identical. About: The most famous Dala Horses are made in the villages around Mora, Sweden, especially Nusnäs, in the province of Dalarna in central Sweden. Through the years the hand-carved and -painted Dala Horse has become a symbol of authentic Swedish handicraft and one of Sweden's most popular souvenirs. These Dala Horses are made at the Grannas A.
