On offer is this lovely collectible antique fork. It's in good condition deals overall, the original silver plating has completely worn over the years exposing the base nickel silver (brassy tone); notable scuffs and scratches too commensurate with age but as shown in the photos all adding to the aged charm and character of the piece.

It's of traditional form, both end tines have been beautifully decorated with an intricate floral border engraving which appears on both sides.

The handle has been crafted from polished bone and retains a lovely natural patina - notable area of discoloration around the top section. Finished off with a silver plated ball finial showing a few dimples.

Unmarked for a maker, Sheffield produced, circa late 19th century.

It measures 24cm (9 and 1/2 inches) in length is ready to be collected and enjoyed once again!
