The box folds in half for storage, felt lined storage area keeps pieces secured. Brass handles and hinges. Nice tile inlaid on top. All pieces have a green anti scratch material on them to preserve the board while playing. This set is not to be confused deals with the three fairies edition which are different carved pieces.
