This listing is for a Bentwood ring made from American Walnut and inlaid with copper, it will be handcrafted for you with great care, in the ring size and width you deals prefer.


-- THE MATERIALS --

American Walnut typically grows in the Eastern United States, it is one of the most popular woods for furniture making in the world due to it's ease of working, appearance, smooth finish and strength. Walnut can typically range in colour from creamy whites to dark brown and grey tones, depending on how it is dried it can even end up with a dark purple tint.

This walnut is a dark brown with clean straight grain.

I use real copper wire for the inlay. As with all metal inlaid bentwood rings there may be one visible join or gap in the wire.

More eco friendly than many other rings that are available. All my woods come from sustainable sources or are reclaimed offcuts from larger projects that would otherwise have gone to waste. Made almost exclusively with hand tools reducing the environmental impact of large machinery.

Unique, why have a metal one like everyone else when you can have a unique ring that has great meaning and sentiment to you. I accept custom ring requests and the possibilities are endless. You might choose a wood that is native to your birthplace, customise your ring with an inlay of stone, shell or sand that you have found. Include an offcut of clothing, a letter or another sentimental item as an inlay.
