This soft, nubby textured extra large prayer shawl is hand crocheted using Lion Brand Homespun bulky acrylic yarn in "Nursery". Colors included in this interesting yarn are light blue, pink, aqua/green, and lilac/gray plus some ecru. The subtle variations in shade produce a striped effect. Pretty colors are nice to wear this summer.

It measures about 70" long by 22" wide when relaxed lying on the bed, but has some definite stretchiness when wearing. Very cozy and soft.

Being crocheted this shawl has more openness to the item deals than the knitted ones I made. It is kind of thick and extra cozy too!

Drape it casually to keep you warm as you relax while reading a book. It can go with many garments, from feminine slacks to a country skirt and blouse, or a prairie/Victorian/folk outfit. Very lovely addition to any lady's wardrobe, for all year long.

Machine washable in warm water with mild soap and dry on low. A lingerie washing bag is suggested to reduce chance of snags.
