Key To My Heart- This fine silver rectangular pendant features a delicate imbedded key/heart design. This is an example of "metal clay art" which is a relatively new art form.

I start with silver clay and form the design. After drying and filing, the piece is fired in a kiln and polished. The clay portion burns off in the kiln and the resulting silver creation is .999 silver (sterling is .925). I add a patina to bring out the texture and apply a protective coat of lacquer to each piece.

Because I make each item individually, there may be slight variations from the piece that is pictured on this site. (This item is not intended for children 14 years of age or younger)
