Artist or Workshop Sketch Pencil in Bloodwood by Specialty Turned Designs

This unique pencil is equally at home in the shop or an artist's sketch kit. You'll find numerous uses around the house and shop for this heavy duty, practical and attractive mechanical pencil. The 5.6mm (nearly 1/4" dia.) lead will never break. The pencil includes a precision, mechanism has an integrated sharpener in the cap. Includes an 80mm length of 2H lead. Graphite and "Magic Lead" colored lead refills are available at most office or art supply stores.

Bloodwood is an exotic deals wood that is sometimes referred to as cardinal wood, for its obvious beautiful deep rose color. With age its color does darken, but not significantly so it is a great wood to use in intarsia projects. The wood is very dense, with a tight fine, mostly linear grain.
