TUMBLED SODALITE STERLING SILVER PENDANT - ONE-OF-A-KIND- ROCK SOLID 925

This tumbled Sodalite pendant from the Rock Solid series is a one-of-a-kind with a silver cap hand crafted to fit only this crystal. The stone is irregular rectangular in shape and the color is a dark blue. The Sodalite has a solid sterling deals silver (925) formed cap and bail on a 18 inch long black ruthenium plated sterling silver 1.75 mm diamond cut oval chain. This is a light weight piece that is comfortable for daily wear. Care: Clean with warm, soapy water. You will receive the Sodalite stone shown in the pictures in an elegant gift box.

Sodalite, cap and bail: 21.4 mm width x 13.81 mm depth x 34.9 mm height/ 0.84 inches width x 0.54 inches depth x 1.37 inches height
Sodalite, cap, bail and chain: 8 DWT/ 12.44 grams/ 0.43 ounces

This cap for the stone was created using the lost wax casting process, a wax model of the cap and bail was created on the stone, a one-time mold is created, metal (solid sterling silver 925) is melted and poured into the mold. (see the about page for more information about the process) The piece is then returned to me to be finished, polished, the Sodalite is set by hand and the completed piece shined.
