Rare and beautiful first holy communion and confirmation certificate from deals the 1880s. It is framed and everything is original from this period. The certificated was printed in France but the certificated was made in the US. A very pretty addition a shabby chic decor.
On the certificate, you can read: " Precious Remembrance to a Faithful Soul - Francis Wiese received the First Holy Communion in Oak Harbor on the 21 days if September in the year 1884 and was confirmed May the 11th 1886"
Condition: The frame is in vintage condition with some pieces of the encrusted accents missing which is giving it its antique appeal. The certificate inside the frame is in good condition with no tears or pieces missing. There are some areas of dirt and / or darkening. Click on ZOOM for larger pictures.
