Vintage fancy rhinestone duette dress clip - silver fur clip brooch set - dress clips - clear rhinestones - rhodium plated art deco deals jewelry

This is a late 1930's duet pin. What is neat about these deals is that could be used as 2 different pieces of jewelry. The mechanism frame on the back allows the end dress fur or dress clips to be removed and used as clips or converted back to be worn as a brooch. Several companies used these mechanisms, each one a little different and usually patented. This one is not signed. The base is rhodium plated metal and the rhinestones are crystal. This measures 3 1/2" long and is one of the larger ones. THey are in very good condition without yellowing of the stones. The rhodium plate is in very good condition too. I have not taken it apart because I couldn't figure out how to. I will leave that to its new owner.
