Honey Bees are a favorite theme of mine. I have made various designs featuring them for more than 8 years now - and I will never stop, because in creating them, I get to meet all the bee keepers and bee lovers far and wide! These designs have been a gallery favorite.
This mixed metals sterling silver and copper necklace has an acid etched, honeycomb texture, and an individually cast, fine silver honeybee. The little bee is made from PMC. (PMC is a mold-able precious metal clay, that is torch fired to deals create a solid, 999 fine silver finished product.) The reverse has a smaller bee hive charm that lays against a silver back ground. This piece can be worn 2 ways. (See first and second photo).
-It measures 5/8 inch in diameter.

-All components are hand made in studio. The sturdy jump ring is soldered.
