Antique Gilt Metal & Marble Pen Stand Holder Display. Pen not included. Metal has brass/bronze wash and nonmagnetic but possible spelter base metal. Unsigned.
This is a deceiving piece, looks French and antique, not sure if pen arms made that way or poor casting with twisted pen holders off angle or made to resemble branches, Feet are all over the place so tray rocks shown in last 2 pictures. Don't see damage just imperfections for the making process.
Base measures around 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" and stands 3 1/2" tall to top of pen holders. Weight is nice for size at close to 11 oz. The arm does twist off easily and I may remove for shipping safety.
Good condition and usable for age with verdigris, tarnishing, finish loss, scratches scuffs, and rocks so far from perfect. Marble has lovely grain. If you can live with poor old casting that rocks when prodded then this is a fun find!
