.Six inch Iridescent Leaded Glass Tree Topper: This Moravian 12 point star has a glass tube to help support it on the tree with additional wire should it be needed. A strong tree branch is necessary due to the weight.Most open center stars can be made into a tree topper for an additional expense. If you are interested in one that isn’t already a tree topper, feel free to contact me.Iridescent glass has the look of oil on water, it is shown off best with light reflecting off of it, as with table lamp lighting rather than through it, as in overhead lighting.Shipping is costly due to the size of the box required to surround the star with peanuts. I use bio-degradable peanuts because I use so much, unfortunately they have an odor. I am not charging for any of the shipping materials. All stars are sent Priority to limit time bumping over road. All items are insured. Occassionally an item is damaged. If that should happen, please retain all packaging along with the item and notify me asap so that I can file a claim for you. I will need your phone number in case the post office wants to contact you to see the package. I will need photos of the break and package. If the post office wants to see the package there is a limited time frame when they will no longer recognize the claim. If that is the situation, I will NOT be able to help you either. Because I have sent a new tree topper in the past before the insurance settlement has been paid and the buyer has not carried through with the post office. I can no longer give that courtesy. For that I am very sorry.
