Maple deals Hand-Cut Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle with Knot

deals This piece of wood practically begged to be made into a puzzle. We have labelled it as Maple, but we are not 100% certain about that. It is dense and hard like maple but, unfortunately, we cannot remember where it came from. It gave us pleasure to turn this small piece of wood into what we see as a work of art. It has 17 pieces. The dimensions are 10 11/6" x 1 5/8" x 5/8" or 27 cm x 14 cm x 1.5 cm.
