Product code: 24×36 Hammer Beam Pavilion deals

This 24x36 hammer beam pavilion has its roots in English Gothic architecture. Hammer beam trusses allow for a large roof span with smaller timbers - create a tom of charm! The embellishments on the hammer beams add even more interest to this frame.

This frame measures 22'-11 ¾” x 34'-11 ¾” to outside of the posts, to accommodate 6” wall framing and furring strips. This allows the frame and wall system to fit on a 24x36 foundation. The ceiling height creates a lot of drama! The top of the upper plates stand at 11'-4 ¾”, and the top of rafters are 22'-10 ⅝” high! The roof pitch is 12:12. The total board feet required for this frame is 5730.3

You will receive links to instantly download the three pdf files when you purchase this plan. There are 9 pages full of information in the construction drawing set. There are assembled and exploded 3D drawings so you can see how the timbers interact. And we include post and rafter plans, and transverse and longitudinal sections. The 24 page piece drawing set contains drawings of every timber in the frame, with each cut completely dimensioned. We have labeled the timbers corresponding to the 3D drawings, so you know exactly where they fit into the frame. Then there is a timber and connector list, so you know exactly the materials to purchase to get started on this project.
