Gorgeous antique lace journal. This is a lovely journal made from some antique lace and paper. This journal is a bit different to what I usually make. I was inspired deals from watching Rachel of Roxy Creations on You tube. She had purchased some vintage journals from the antique market. The journals had a lot of antique lace that had been hand stitched onto the journal pages. I loved them so this is my version. The cover has a printed linen photo of mother and daughter surrounded by eyelet lace with silk ribbon through it. The rest of the cover is made from different strips of antique lace that I have hand stitched together. It is a soft cover. I have used some lovely original postcards, some original French notary paper, and an original piece of paper from the 1800's requesting money to build a school in a Scottish village. I have stitched the antique lace in by hand. There are some lovely Victorian embellishments. Some original French religious medallions, old vintage wall paper, an old envelope with an original Queen Victoria stamp and a French menu. The journal measures approx. 16 cms by 12 cms ( 6" x 4 and 1/2") It has one signature with 16 pages (32 double-side) Most of the pages are writable as well as the back of the tagss and some of the postcards.
