Antique French deals large glass casket trinket jewellery box bevelled glass display case wedding gift

Here is a stunning antique French glass casket box, probably from the early 1900s to 1930s.

This amazing larger sized French jewellery/wedding casket is made from thick hand cut bevelled glass, the glass is to all sides except the base. All held together with gilt coloured metal, little detailed ormolu feet, securely opens and closes at the front with little snap down fastener. The inside has a black velvet base as seen in the eight and ninth photos. It is in good condition its age with normal wear and tarnish to the deals metal, a few minor scratches to the glass, would probably benefit from a gentle clean. A wonderful rare box as specially in this larger size, would make a lovely display case for a very special gift.

Condition: Very good (normal wear for age, wear and tarnish to metal, light scratches to glass)
Measures 12cm take by 10cm, 10cm deep
