I have to say, this vintage Murano piece never did that much for me... UNTIL I decided to list it ! I washed it & set it on the wood table while I went to get something. When I came back, this same glass piece was glowing while casting a spectacular shadow around it. Because of its rippling texture, light strikes it in many places. The more I worked with this art glass, the more I saw the beauty in it. Maybe it was the lighting above the table that caused this effect but if I were keeping it, that is the way I would display it. I do not know if this is considered a bowl or a vase, or just referred to as 'art glass'. Also, the label fell off when washing it so I just put it in the inside bottom. The piece measures approximately 16" across x 5" tall & was hand made in Italy. There is no damage anywhere on the art glass. thanks for deals looking!.
