100% Australian super soft merino infinity scarf in dark grey.

Each scarf is unique, this one is approx 160cms around its circumference.

I make my own yarn from locally sourced merino wool as I found that I could not buy this type of product in Australia. I then knit using giant circular wooden needles.

Custom sizes and knit patterns are also available. Shipping is generally 1 - 2 weeks from time of order, however may vary due to demand.

Benefits of Wool: The natural protein fibre of wool has a greater bulk than other fibres and holds air which ensures that it has fantastic insulating properties. Wool also has flame retardant properties as well as being considered to have a very low allergenic risk.

Care: As with all knitted woollen pieces, pilling will occur as the knit is used, however the pills can be gently removed on a regular basis to maintain the look of the item. Excessive wear and tear and abrasive surfaces should be avoided as should sharp items, as these can catch on the fibers and cause pulls which can damage the integrity of the chunky yarn.

Dry cleaning is recommended. Scarves can be hand washed gently (do not agitate) in very cool water, the excess deals water removed by carefully squeezing the item (do not wring or twist) and then rolling the item in a towel. It can be gently reshaped and dried flat, out of direct sunlight. Note that immersion in warm/hot water and agitation will result in felting and shrinkage.

International postage: Using standard economy air, packages are not trackable. I strongly recommend that you consider upgrading to standard post which offers tracking, signature on delivery and/or extra cover. Please contact me if you require these options and I can advise of the additional cost. Should you select the standard delivery option I am unable to offer a replacement in the unlikely event that you package goes astray.
