This novel began life as 12 separate short stories of international intrigue and espionage.

Condition: Fair to good vintage condition. The cover has some stains and substantial fading and tears on the spine. The spine is cocked. There is writing on the front loose end paper and some fraying along the spine hinge. The pages are yellowed but not brittle and there is foxing throughout. The back of the last page of text is printed with "Glasgow: W. Collins Sons & Co Ltd". This is a rare copy.
