Original linocut print of a British Guardsman in red coat and bearskin. The lead soldier was made by Britians Ltd and was one of the first soldiers in my childhood toy soldier collection. Collectors of Britains Miniatures will recognize this classic antique lead soldier.

TORONTO OUTDOOR ART SHOW INVITATION
This print was created as an original art linocut invitation promoting my art show at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition, Nathan Phillips Square 1999. The backside of this print (not visible in the framed print) promotes the Outdoor Art Show and my art booth. I made original linocut prints promoting my artwork for three or four years--this was one of my favourite small prints created for this purpose.

RARE ARTIST PRINT
All other prints in this edition were mailed to people on my mailing list as a original postcard print. The prints were addressed, stamped and mailed without envelopes as a collectible postcard project.

PAPER
Printed on thick office cardstock paper with a subtle linen textured finish. The paper is in good condition, clean and without damage or yellowing. This particular print was not mailed and has remained in my collection.

PICTURE FRAME
Solid hardwood light oak hardwood picture frame with cherry corner spline reinforcing accents. Glass and acid free mat board. Framing and picture frame is handmade by the artist on 2021.
