Colorful glass powder is applied to create images of plants. I employ glass ground fine as flour, there is no paint used. My work is gently fired in the kiln for 1-3 days, where it runs together like honey. The glass is reborn when the kiln is opened. What is revealed are irregular textures of unfading glass that can be built into panels. The panels are leaded, soldered and puttied with the historic construction method. Finished pieces capture light and beautiful shades of everlasting color that transition with changing sunlight.
