This unique quilt measures 46 inches across by 54 1/2 inches from top to bottom.
Each of the blocks on the front of this ABC quilt is 7 inches square. The sashing that surrounds each of the blocks is 2 inches wide.The letters are made of one inch wide pieces of colorful fabrics. The pieces tht make up the letters were fused onto the white fabric and then raw edge appliqued.
The back side of the quilt uses the alphabet print and yellow sashing fabrics used on the front.
The batting is low loft polyester. Quilting has been done around the blocks and around each of the appliqués to ensure that they are well anchored.
Straight quilting was done around the outside and around each of the blocks. Quilting was also done around each of the letters.
The quilt has been washed to ensure color fastness and durability. Since the letters are raw edge appliqued, I suggest it be deals washed on gentle in cold water. Some ravelling will occur when washed.
