This 1988 Barbie brand sweater set is just amazing. Designed with a groovy 1960s / 70s color scheme and bold statement print, it would make a great back to school look, cinema viewing outfit, or retro Barbie costume. Can you just imagine it with some knee highs and a matching headband or glasses?! It's so good. Comfortable medium weight knit, perfect for fall and in excellent vintage condition. Elastic waistband of the skirt is very stretchy. There are a few tiny darker flecks that are speckled over the front and back of the orange sections, but I believe those date back to manufacture and are from darker fibers getting mixed into the orange yarn since they aren't present in the other colors. (See close up pic for an example.) Otherwise it's pristine for vintage, no pilling or damage anywhere.
