Kumihimo is a Japanese form of braiding. It is very time consuming and takes about 8 hours to make a necklace. Kumihimo cord was first made in the 7th Century and was used for making the cords that tied together Samurai Armor. It has become popular again, by the addition of beads.

Seaglass: All of my seaglass creations are made with authentic seaglass, found by me, on either the Jersey Shore or the Florida East Coastline.
It is never tumbled or artificially treated in any way. Some seaglass is rubbed with oil for a more lustrous look and some is left in it's natural frosted form.

Care Instructions:
Please try to keep away from water, perfumes and lotions. The accents are all silver plated and I make sure that I use only quality items but with time and constant use they might lose their color. In that case use a jewelry cloth to clean them.
