This piece of rustic stained glass art combines glass, mirrors, reclaimed trees, and beads for a unique piece of art for your wall or tabletop. As with all glass pieces, the colors and perspectives change with the light and background. You can see the various surroundings reflected in the mirrors in deals the different photos taken. Measurements are approximately 15 inches long and 20 inches tall.

When Hurricane Matthew struck our neighborhood in 2016, many old trees fell as a result of the wind and rain. Others were removed afterward because of unsustainable damage. I collected hollowed tree trunks and limbs, sliced them, and dried/conditioned them Then I incorporated them into artworks of varying sizes. I don't use a pattern when I do my stained glass, but instead search through my collection of glass to find pieces that fit together and fit the piece of wood that I'm using. I love the look that this combination of materials creates.
