Because every woman should feel like a princess at some time in her life, I've created the Princess Daisy layered necklace from all vintage components. The focal point of the necklace are the two vintage gold and white daisies of enamel and pot metal. While soldering the jump rings I discovered that the centers of the flowers are actually perfume cases, one of which held solid perfume that melted out of the case! The other case was empty but I think these are great little conversation pieces (need a pillbox or a secret hiding spot?). I've attached to them four strands of vintage pearls and connected the neck with vintage pearls and glass crystals that I've hand wired together. Her innermost strand measures 26 inches and the outermost, 30 inches and can be adjusted by three inches in either direction (longer or shorter). Each daisy has a diameter of 2.5 inches. I've signed Princess Daisy in 14 karat gold plate as your assurance that it's an original one of a kind design.
Most of the components of this beauty range from fifty to seventy years old; they are in very good condition for their age but a few minor chips, scratches, fading or other surface blemishes may exist. Like their human counterparts, these minor flaws and variations makes them, in my opinion, all the more beautiful. Please do inspect the pictures which are unretouched and never “photoshopped.” If you value items with both age and timeless beauty which have lived a previous life, my jewelry is perfect for you, despite any minor flaws it may have.
