"Meg" is an original issue in the "Little deals Women" collection, inspired by Louisa May Alcott. Designed by Wendy Lawton and produced under the hallmark of Ashton-Drake Galleries.
"Meg" sitting height from stool 9", with stool 12", does not include length of legs. A full size doll "Meg" has porcelain hands, feet and head allowing her to be fully poseable. "Meg" wears a dusty-rose taffeta dress with a white crochet lace collar, full sleeves and white mesh cuffed undersleeves, cream colored lace trimmed petticoat and long lace trimmed bloomers, white socks/stockings, and white high-buttoned shoes with white faux pearl fasteners and a gold colored buckle across the toes. "Meg" has long, soft curly brown hair adorned with a pink satin bow. She comes with a white ottoman 3.5" high and 5.5" in diameter, a piece of white material with embroidery stitching, needle, and embroidery hoop, COA and instructions.
The edition of Meg ended forever in 1995, at which time the molds were broken and no further porcelain was cast. She is brand new in her packaging.
