Created in the wheel thrown tradition from a warm speckled brown stoneware clay, this lidded jar is warm and inviting. The creamy satin glaze on the upper portion of the jar flows down the sides creating dramatic movement. The rich brown gloss glaze provides a contrast in both color and texture. The speckles in the stoneware clay interact with both glazes to create even more depth and interest. The style of this vessel is complementary to rustic, modern farmhouse, country, eclectic and modern decors.
