deals Always pleased to find a vintage French wooden gathering basket, and this one has a twig branch handle, a classic rustic French country gardening or grape harvesting trug, perfect today for storage & decor.
Designed as a shallow rectangular basket for gardening, gathering produce or harvesting wine grapes, you can use it as intended, for seasonal decor display, at the farmer's market, or for magazines and blankets - it's just full of character and style! Handmade, you can see there's still a bit of bark on the tree branch handle. In very good condition, one chunk of wood gone at the top of one side, and some staining to the bottom, generously sized, deep and wide to carry things, store kindling, or create a lovely flower bouquet arrangement. 15 1/2" wide, 11 1/4" side to side, 6 1/2" tall to the edge of the basket, just under 12" tall to the top of the handle.
