This is a Victorian, ornate, antiqued silver metal jewelry box with added contemporary antiqued silver stamped metal bat. It is an open work, branch and oak leaf, filigree design that is tarnished, plated sterling silver. The 6 x 4 x 3 inch box has a black velvet bottom with open work metal all the way around, including the lid. The original box was made in the late 1800's and has an added contemporary bat measuring 4.5 inches. The box is heavy and substantial. It sits upon four half inch legs. It is the style of the deals Haunted Mansion including natural silver tarnishing from age.
