This is a lovely rustic antique wirework basket, designed to store eggs in.

French in origin, this wirework basket dates from the early 20th Century. With natural wear, it's perfect for adding a rustic touch to your kitchen decor. A great size to easily hold a dozen eggs with ease.

The basket is in fair condition deals for its age. The handle has bent a little with age but the whole basket stands perfectly flat and is still sturdy and good to use. There is also some oxidisation to the handle and to the top rim of the basket but this hasn't affected the main part of the basket itself and so is still good to use.
