Once in a while a handkerchief comes along that just makes me gasp! This is one of those times. Divine, antique Appenzell embroidery in silver, padded satin stitching. A detailed floral motif on all four corners with just a small center of plain white linen. Cut work and hand rolled edge.

It's regarded as the finest embroidery in the world due to the intricate, tiny stitching and details. The skill and talent required to create such fine pieces - all by hand - is astonishing.
