Included in the box set are The Hobbit, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King. Gift inscription handwritten in the Fellowship book. No other handwriting throughout. All four books appear unread, with unbroken spines.

See the photos to evaluate for yourself. Only very minor edge, corner and shelf wear on this set. Nothing more than what would be expected from an old, very well-cared-for set. Original gold cardboard slipcase is in good vintage condition too.

All printings are 1978 - January and May.

Books measure 7 inches by 4 inches. This is a Vintage Item and is Sold As Is.
