Lovely Wedgwood tobacco jar with lid in the cream on Portland blue jasperware color. These pieces were released deals in 1908 and discontinued in 1969 making these pieces highly collectible. The piece is in good vintage condition with the lid showing a large chip, the jar itself has no damage, no chips, no cracks and no repairs. It features a decorated lid, white Greek motif reliefs throughout and displaying a continuous scene. It has a matte finish. It does need some cleaning as it show some dust buildup. The piece displays beautifully and would make an excellent addition to any collection or given as a gift. The piece is marked on the underside and is approximately 6 1/2” inches tall. Does not come with the original packaging.
