They are almost exclusively landscape as opposed to portrait (this happened when Hagemann became involved in production around 1928)

( canvas: 96cm x 70cm)

CONDITION
Printed on paper and backed with canvas, this chart has a wooden half dowel at the top and a full dowel at the bottom.
It has spent most of it's life rolled up in a cupboard so the colours are still fresh and bright.
Obviously these charts are not new so PLEASE CHECK ALL PICTURES BEFORE PURCHASE.

There is often light wear that comes with use on these charts.

This chart is in good vintage condition there are some patches of wear, creases, small tears and light wear to the edges and some patches of clear tape as can be seen in the pictures , but considering it is over 100 years old it has survived extremely well.

These old charts were produced as educational tools for schools and colleges by teacher Heinrich Jung, artist and biologist Gottlieb von Koch and college director, Doctor Friedrich Quentell.
First published by Frommann and Morian in the early 1900's Hagemann became involved in the production around 1928/1929 first in conjunction with Frommann and Morian then on their own from around 1963. up until about 1965 the charts were printed using lithography.

You can find modern reprints of these charts from many online sellers but they lack the atmosphere and history of the vintage ones.

This chart is a genuine antique collectors piece.
