This piece is a lovely large inlaid dresser box. Most of the ones I see on line are attributed to the Middle East. It has mother of pearl and other various woods. I do know it was purchased by its previous owner in New England in 1999. All of the other boxes were from the 1930-1940 time frame. It is an oblong octagon shape and measures 13 inches long 8.75 inches across and 3.5 inches tall. It has a key hole but no key. Please look at all pictures to see all the lovely details. I do not know if the cracks inside of the lid are original or are actura cracks. I see none on the outside. There are some possible letters on the bottom vcco, ycco vcc ycc along one edge. I found no other markings other that on the inside. Prices I find are also all over the place. So I will price it what I feel is a fair price.
Please look at and enlarge all pictures they are also part of the description. I try to take pictures of any damage found. Vintage items are all previously owned items. They may have flaws and wear from use. I will do my best to note any flaws deals or excessive wear that I find either in my description or with pictures. All items are sold as is. I want you to be happy with what you purchase. Also, any display stands used are not included in the purchase. I also occasionally reuse packing material and boxes if I have the appropriate materials to use. Please if you are unhappy at any time with your purchase please contact me immediately. I am not an expert. I do my best to research items prior to offering them for sale to give you the best description that I can.
