Bold Vintage Hat Sz 22 7 deals 1/8 50s Lucila Mendez Black Fur Felt Horse Hair Calot M Free US Shipping

This is a lovely designer women's hat from the 1950s made by Lucila Mendez New York. There is also a stamp on the inside that says Caressa. The hat is made out of a black fur felt velour that has a very soft texture. The hat is brimless, and it has a large horse hair accent on one side.


SIZING

The hat is tagged a size 22, and it measures 21.75 inches around the inside hat band. I personally wear a size 7 1/4, and this hat was just a little snug on me when I tried it on, so I believe a size 7 1/8 (Medium) could wear it comfortably.



CONDITION

This hat is in very good vintage condition. I did notice that a couple strands of the horse hair are bent, but this is a very minor flaw that shouldn't be too noticeable when the hat is worn!
